Davina & The Vagabonds will perform at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh on July 18, 2026. The band is known for a distinctive sound rooted in New Orleans rhythm and blues, incorporating elements of jazz, soul, and early rock and roll. Davina Sowers’ vocals are a central feature, often compared to artists like Etta James and Billie Holiday, while the band’s instrumentation features piano, upright bass, drums, and often horns. They have built a following through extensive touring and several independently released albums.

The Queen’s Hall is a prominent concert venue located in Edinburgh city centre. Opened in 1979 following the conversion of a former Free Church building, it has become a significant cultural hub for live music and performance. Designed by architect William Henry Playfair in the 1820s, the building itself holds historical significance. The hall is renowned for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere despite its capacity of approximately 900 standing or 650 seated. It hosts a diverse range of events including classical music performances, jazz concerts, folk music festivals and comedy shows alongside contemporary popular music acts.
