Davina & The Vagabonds perform a vibrant blend of New Orleans jazz, blues, and roots music, often incorporating elements of swing and honky-tonk. Fronted by Davina Sowers, the band is known for its energetic live shows and Sowers’ powerful vocals and piano playing. They have toured extensively, gaining recognition for their authentic interpretations and original compositions within these genres.

The Mineral Point Opera House, located in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, holds a significant place in the town’s history. Originally constructed in 1897, it served as a community hub hosting various performances including theatrical productions, vaudeville acts, lectures, and political rallies. Facing decline in the mid-20th century, a dedicated group initiated a restoration project completed in 1996.

Today, the Opera House continues to function as a performing arts venue and historical landmark. Its architecture reflects late Victorian design with ornate detailing typical of opera houses from that era. The space maintains much of its original character while accommodating modern performance needs. It's known for its intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics making it a popular location for musical performances. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
