Villa Corsini Sarsina, functioning as the Sede Comunale (Town Hall) of Anzio, Italy, holds historical significance dating back to the 18th century. Originally constructed for the Corsini family – a prominent Roman noble family with papal connections – the villa exemplifies Baroque architecture typical of the Roman countryside. Over time, it transitioned from a private residence to serve public administrative functions. The building underwent restoration in the latter half of the 20th century to repair damage sustained during World War II, specifically during the Allied landings at Anzio in 1944. Today, it continues to house municipal offices while also occasionally hosting cultural events within its historic spaces.
