Following a period of decline in the late 20th century, the theatre underwent significant renovations completed in 2018. These renovations restored many of the theatre’s original architectural features while modernizing its facilities to accommodate live performances alongside film screenings. The venue now functions as a multi-purpose arts centre hosting concerts, theatrical productions and community events; retaining its historical charm alongside contemporary functionality. It has a seating capacity of approximately 350 people.
