WOW Hall in Eugene, Oregon, has a significant history as a community-supported, all-ages venue. Originally established in 1975 as a cooperative, it transitioned to a non-profit organization in 1989. The venue is housed within a historic building that previously served as a women’s gymnasium – hence the “WOW” (Women’s Own Workout) designation – built in 1938.

Throughout its existence, WOW Hall has hosted a diverse range of nationally and internationally touring musicians alongside local acts, spanning genres including rock, folk, punk, hip-hop and more. It's recognized for its intimate atmosphere and commitment to providing accessible live music experiences. The hall operates largely through volunteer efforts and community donations contributing to its continued operation as an independent venue.
