Damien Escobar is a violinist and performing artist known for blending classical training with contemporary genres like R&B, hip-hop, and gospel. He gained national recognition alongside his brother, Hakeem Escobar, as Nuttin’ but Stringz, initially performing on street corners and subway platforms before appearing on *America’s Got Talent* in 2010. His music often features original compositions and arrangements designed to bridge musical divides and appeal to diverse audiences.

The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue located in Detroit, Michigan, situated along the Detroit River. Originally constructed in 1951 as the Ford Pavilion, it underwent several name changes and renovations throughout its history. It was officially renamed in June 2021 to honor the late “Queen of Soul,” Aretha Franklin, a Detroit native whose career significantly impacted the city's cultural landscape. The amphitheater has hosted numerous prominent musical acts across various genres over the decades and has a capacity of approximately 5,000 attendees.
