dal:um will perform at the Musée National Des Arts Asiatiques Guimet in Paris, France on November 6, 2026. dal:um is a South Korean musical project led by Kim Yoonha, exploring contemporary interpretations of traditional Korean music – *gugak*. Their sound frequently incorporates elements of ambient, electronic, and post-rock genres alongside traditional Korean instruments like the *gayageum* (zither) and vocals. The project aims to bridge historical sounds with modern sensibilities, creating atmospheric and emotionally resonant compositions.

The Musée National Des Arts Asiatiques Guimet, established in 1889 by Émile Guimet, initially showcased his personal collection amassed during travels across Asia. It’s dedicated to the arts of Asia, with a particular focus on East Asian cultures – China, Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia. The museum’s holdings encompass a broad range of art forms including painting, sculpture, ceramics, bronzes and textiles. The building itself is notable; originally constructed for the Universal Exposition of 1889 alongside the Eiffel Tower, it was later moved to its current location in the 16th arrondissement.
