Dal:um, a South Korean musical duo, will perform at the Musée des Confluences in Lyon, France on November 7, 2026. Their music is generally described as blending Korean traditional instrumentation and vocal styles with contemporary indie pop and electronic elements. Often incorporating themes of nature, folklore, and personal reflection, dal:um’s sound is characterized by atmospheric arrangements and the distinctive timbres of instruments like the *gayageum* and *haegeum*. They gained prominence through their participation in the South Korean music show *Show Me The Money 10* in 2021.

The Musée des Confluences, opened in 2014, serves as a museum of anthropology, natural sciences, and civilizations. Designed by architect Jacques Ferrier, its striking architectural form resembles two ships facing each other at a confluence – referencing its location at the meeting point of the Rhône and Saône rivers. The museum’s permanent collections explore the origins of humanity and biodiversity, while temporary exhibitions cover a broad range of scientific and cultural topics. It aims to present a multidisciplinary perspective on understanding the world and humankind’s place within it.
