Counterparts, a Canadian metalcore band formed in 2007, will be performing at Poppodium 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands on December 8th, 2026. Their music is characterized by a blend of aggressive, downtuned guitars, emotionally driven vocals – often shifting between harsh screams and melodic cleans – and dynamic song structures. Over their career, Counterparts have released several critically acclaimed albums, evolving their sound while remaining rooted in the metalcore genre. They are known for exploring themes of loss, anxiety and personal struggle within their lyrical content.

Poppodium 013 is a prominent music venue located in Tilburg, Netherlands. Opened in 1998, it quickly established itself as a key location for both established and emerging artists across various genres including rock, pop, electronic and alternative music. The venue is noted for its flexible spaces; its main hall (“the Great Hall”) has a capacity of approximately 3500 people, while smaller rooms accommodate more intimate performances. It has hosted numerous internationally renowned acts and regularly features on tour schedules for major artists travelling through Europe.
