Corky Siegel, a Chicago blues harmonica player and bandleader, will perform at the Woodstock Opera House on July 18, 2026. Siegel is known for blending traditional Chicago blues with elements of classical, jazz, and world music, often incorporating chamber ensembles alongside his blues band. He gained prominence in the 1960s as a founding member of the Siegel-Schwall Band, recognized for their energetic performances and innovative approach to blues instrumentation. His career spans decades, including collaborations with numerous artists and extensive touring internationally.

The Woodstock Opera House, located in Woodstock, Illinois, has a rich history dating back to its original construction in 1889. Designed by architect Daniel D. Harrington, it served as a community hub hosting vaudeville acts, traveling theatrical companies, and local events throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Following a period of decline in the mid-20th century, a significant restoration project completed in 2009 returned the building to its former grandeur.
