Collegium Vocale Gent, a renowned vocal ensemble, will perform at the Concertgebouw in Bruges, Belgium on March 27, 2027. The group is celebrated for its historically informed performance practice of Renaissance polyphony, specializing in the works of composers such as Palestrina, Josquin des Prez and Orlando di Lasso. Their interpretations are characterized by clarity of texture, precise intonation and a focus on conveying the expressive nuances within the music of the period. Founded in 1973 by Philippe Herreweghe, Collegium Vocale Gent has established itself as a leading force in early music performance internationally.

The Concertgebouw Bruges opened in 2022 and is a modern concert hall designed by Robbert Jan van der Vorm and Paulien van den Berg. It’s built within a renovated historic Pandreitje convent and features a main hall with exceptional acoustics intended for chamber music, recitals and smaller orchestral performances. The building's design deliberately integrates historical elements with contemporary architecture, creating a unique cultural space.
