China Moses will perform at Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Italy on November 4, 2026. Moses is an American-German vocalist known for her distinctive blend of jazz, blues, soul, and electronic music. Her style often incorporates spoken word elements and experimental soundscapes alongside traditional instrumentation, creating a dynamic and contemporary interpretation of classic genres. She is the granddaughter of jazz trumpeter Cootie Williams and daughter of jazz musician Ricci Moses, inheriting a strong musical lineage.

Teatro Dal Verme opened in 1931 and is a significant cultural institution in Milan. Originally conceived during the Fascist era as a venue for operetta and light opera – reflecting the regime’s preference for accessible entertainment – it quickly broadened its programming to include opera, ballet, concerts, and theatrical performances. The theatre underwent extensive renovations between 2004 and 2008, restoring many of its original Art Deco features while updating its technical capabilities. It currently serves as a primary performance space for classical music, opera, and contemporary dance within the city, hosting both Italian and international artists. The theatre has a capacity of approximately 1446 seats.
