Chilly Gonzales, born Jason Beckemmann, is a Canadian musician known for his eclectic style blending classical piano, hip-hop, and ambient electronic music. Often performing in formal wear – typically a bathrobe – Gonzales’s work frequently explores themes of intimacy and vulnerability through instrumental compositions and spoken word elements. He gained prominence through his “Solo Piano” trilogy and collaborations with artists like Feist, Drake, and Jarvis Cocker.
