Chilly Gonzales, born Jason Beckmann, is a Canadian musician known for his eclectic and often contrasting musical styles. He frequently blends classical piano with hip-hop, electronica, and pop sensibilities, often performing in pajamas and adopting a persona that playfully subverts concert expectations. His work includes solo piano albums, collaborations with artists like Feist and Drake, and the creation of “Solo Piano” trilogy – critically acclaimed albums showcasing minimalist compositions. He is also known for his “Pop vs Classical” series where he reinterprets popular songs in a classical style.

The Grand Théâtre de Provence, located in Aix-en-Provence, France, opened in 2007. Designed by architect Vittorio Gregotti, the theatre is a significant cultural venue in the region, hosting a diverse range of performances including opera, ballet, theatre, and concerts. It features a main hall seating approximately 1049 people and a smaller studio theatre.
