Experience Chassol live on December 12th
Christophe Chassol, known professionally as Chassol, will perform at the Triennale Milano on December 12, 2026. Chassol is a French composer, pianist, and visual artist recognized for his unique “recording-based” music. He constructs compositions by meticulously sampling and re-assembling short fragments of sound – often vocal – recorded during live performances or everyday environments. These samples are then rearranged and layered in real-time using custom-built software, creating complex harmonic structures and textural soundscapes that blend elements of jazz, classical music, and electronic production.
The Triennale Milano is a design and art museum established in 1923 as a national institute promoting Italian design and architecture. Initially conceived to host exhibitions every three years (hence “Triennale”), it has evolved into a year-round cultural institution. The building itself, designed by Giovanni Muzio and completed in 1933, is a significant example of Italian Rationalist architecture. Throughout its history, the Triennale has showcased both established and emerging artists across various disciplines including visual arts, performance, and music.
