Chassol, the stage name of Antoine Hersen, will perform at La Bellevilloise in Paris on July 9, 2026. His musical style is characterized by “pianorama,” a self-developed technique involving real-time sampling and looping of his own piano playing and vocalizations, often incorporating field recordings and found sounds. This creates complex, layered compositions that blend elements of jazz, classical music, electronic music, and world music influences. Chassol’s performances are known for their improvisational nature and visual component, frequently utilizing projected imagery synchronized with the music. He has released several albums including *Dénuement*, *Liasons* and *Fourchette*, receiving critical acclaim for his innovative approach to music creation.

La Bellevilloise is a historic venue in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
