Charu Suri is a pianist and composer known for blending elements of jazz, classical, and Indian classical music into a distinctive contemporary style. Her compositions often explore themes of identity, displacement, and memory, frequently incorporating improvisation and rhythmic complexity. Suri’s work has been recognized with awards including the Grand Prize in the Composition category at the USA Songwriting Competition. She has released several albums to critical acclaim, and actively tours internationally.

The Mill, located in Westport, Connecticut, is a historic venue originally built as a community center in 1905. It underwent significant renovations in recent years to transform it into a dedicated performance space. The building retains much of its original architectural character, featuring exposed brick and high ceilings which contribute to its intimate atmosphere. It now functions primarily as a music venue hosting a diverse range of artists spanning genres like folk, rock, jazz and world music. The Mill is known for its focus on showcasing both established and emerging talent within an acoustically-focused environment designed for live performance. It's capacity is approximately 200 people.
