Originally constructed as a wooden frame church to serve the area’s growing Irish immigrant population, the current Romanesque Revival structure was dedicated in 1926 following a fire that destroyed the original building. The church features stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Saint Vincent de Paul and is noted for its acoustics which have made it a venue for musical performances over the years.
