Le Caveau De La Huchette is a historic jazz club located in the Latin Quarter of Paris. Established in 1949, it quickly became a central hub for the burgeoning bebop scene in post-war France. The club gained international recognition following its appearance in the 1958 film *Les Amants* (The Lovers) directed by Louis Malle, further solidifying its association with artistic and bohemian culture. Throughout the 1960s, it hosted prominent American jazz musicians who were touring Europe, including performances by Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and Dexter Gordon.

The venue itself is situated in a medieval cellar dating back to the 13th century, originally used as a wine merchant’s storage space.
