Castella is a musical project centered around the artist Kevin Kastrup, known for atmospheric and emotionally resonant electronic music. Often categorized within ambient, downtempo, and IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) genres, Castella’s compositions frequently feature intricate sound design, melodic textures, and a focus on creating immersive sonic landscapes. His work draws influences from artists like Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin, while maintaining a distinctive and melancholic tone.

The Granada LA is a historic venue located in the Alhambra neighborhood of Los Angeles County, California. Originally built in 1927 as a movie palace during the golden age of cinema, it operated as a single-screen theater for several decades. Following periods of decline and closure, the building underwent extensive restoration in the early 2000s.

Today, The Granada LA functions as a multi-purpose event space hosting live music performances across various genres – including indie rock, electronic music, and Latin music – alongside film screenings and private events. It retains much of its original architectural detail including ornate plasterwork and a classic proscenium arch stage setup creating an intimate concert experience with a capacity around 800 people.
