The Concertgebouw, opened in 1888, is renowned globally for its exceptional acoustics and is considered one of the world’s leading concert halls. Designed by Pieter Cuypers, it's notable for its shoebox shape which contributes significantly to its natural reverberation. The building itself underwent a significant renovation completed in 2023 aimed at improving facilities while preserving its original acoustic properties and architectural character.
