Experience Caribou live on November 28th
Dan Snaith, known professionally as Caribou, is scheduled to perform at the Capitol Theatre in Singapore on November 28, 2026. Caribou’s music blends electronic dance music with elements of indie pop, psychedelic rock, and jazz harmony. Often characterized by intricate rhythms, emotive vocal samples, and layered textures, his work explores themes of memory, loss, and connection. He initially gained recognition for his earlier work under the alias Manitoba and has since released critically acclaimed albums like *Swim*, *Our Love*, and *Suddenly*.
The Capitol Theatre itself holds a significant place in Singapore’s cultural landscape. Originally opened in 1930 as a cinema, it was one of the first air-conditioned cinemas in the country and quickly became a popular entertainment venue. After periods of closure and redevelopment, the building reopened in 2018 following extensive restoration work. The restored Capitol Theatre now functions as a multi-purpose performance space hosting concerts, theatre productions, and other live events while retaining much of its original Art Deco architectural features. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics.
