Sankofa Square is a public space located in the Eglinton West neighbourhood of Toronto, within the city's Little Jamaica district. Established in 2018, it was created as a community hub and a focal point for celebrating Black culture and heritage. The name "Sankofa" originates from the Akan people of Ghana and translates to “go back and get it,” signifying the importance of learning from the past to build a better future.

The square’s design incorporates elements reflective of Caribbean and African aesthetics, including vibrant colours and symbolic artwork. It has quickly become a significant location for community events, festivals, art installations, and gatherings focused on amplifying Black voices within Toronto. The space aims to address historical inequities experienced by the Black community while fostering a sense of belonging and cultural pride.
