Caity Gyorgy will perform at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California on January 22, 2027. Her compositions frequently explore themes of memory, nature, and interiority, utilizing prepared piano techniques – altering the instrument’s sound through the placement of objects on or between the strings – alongside extended techniques and evocative harmonic language. She has released several critically acclaimed albums and her work has been commissioned by prominent ensembles and institutions internationally.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts opened in 1985 as the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
