Brussels Philharmonic will perform at Flagey - Studio 1 in Brussels, Belgium on June 5th, 2027. Flagey - Studio 1 is a significant concert hall within the larger Flagey cultural complex. Originally constructed as part of the Centre Culturel Flagey in the 1930s, designed in a modernist style by Joseph Van Neck, the building served initially as a broadcasting center for the Belgian National Radio (NIR). Studio 1 underwent substantial renovations completed in 2002, restoring many of its original Art Deco features while modernizing its acoustic capabilities. It’s considered a key venue for classical music performances in Brussels due to its intimate setting and excellent sound quality. The studio's history is intrinsically linked to Belgian broadcasting and cultural life, having hosted countless radio recordings and public events since its inception.
