Experience B'Rock Orchestra live on February 23rd
B’Rock Orchestra, founded in 2005 by violinist Amandine Beyer, specializes in historically informed performance practice of Baroque and Classical period music. The ensemble is recognized for its dynamic interpretations and a commitment to utilizing instruments and performance techniques reflective of the eras in which the composed works originated. Their repertoire extends beyond well-known composers to include lesser-known figures, often shedding light on overlooked musical contributions.
The concert will take place at Philharmonie de Paris, a prominent concert hall inaugurated in January 2015. Situated in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, it is a major cultural institution designed by architect Jean Nouvel. The complex encompasses several spaces, including the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez – renowned for its exceptional acoustics – as well as smaller venues dedicated to chamber music and experimental performances.
Philharmonie de Paris was conceived as a national project to address France’s lack of a modern, large-capacity concert hall suitable for symphonic orchestras. It aims to be accessible to diverse audiences through educational programs and community outreach initiatives alongside its core performance schedule. The venue hosts both domestic and international ensembles across a broad range of classical music genres.
