Braxton Cook is a contemporary jazz saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist known for blending elements of jazz improvisation with R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music. His sound frequently incorporates looping techniques and atmospheric textures, creating a dynamic and often groove-focused experience. He gained prominence through self-released projects and collaborations before signing with Fresh Selects Records. Cook’s performances emphasize instrumental virtuosity alongside a strong emphasis on melody and sonic exploration.

The concert is scheduled to take place at the Doctor Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida on October 9, 2026. Opened in 2014, the Doctor Phillips Center serves as Central Florida’s premier performing arts venue. The complex comprises three distinct performance spaces: the Walt Disney Theater, a large Broadway-style hall; the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, a more intimate proscenium theater; and Seneff Arts Plaza, an outdoor community space used for various events. The center hosts a wide range of performances including Broadway shows, concerts, dance recitals, and educational programs. It was designed by the architectural firm HKS, Inc., with acoustical design by Akustiks LLC.
