Brass-A-Holics will perform at Tipitina's in New Orleans on July 3, 2026. The band is a New Orleans-based brass band known for their high-energy performances blending traditional New Orleans brass band sounds with elements of funk, jazz, hip-hop, and rock. They are recognized for tight arrangements, improvisational skill, and a repertoire that includes both original compositions and reimagined popular songs.

Tipitina’s, located on Napoleon Avenue, holds a significant place in New Orleans musical history. Originally opened in 1974 by brothers Reginald and Jerome Houston, it was conceived as a showcase for Professor Longhair, whose nickname was “Tipitina.” The venue quickly became a cornerstone of the city’s music scene, fostering performances from local legends and nationally renowned artists across genres including rhythm & blues, funk, rock and jazz.

The building itself has undergone expansions over the years but maintains its intimate atmosphere. It's known for its distinctive sound quality and its role in preserving and promoting New Orleans musical culture. Tipitina's Foundation also supports Louisiana musicians through various outreach programs.
