Simon Green, known professionally as Bonobo, is scheduled to perform at The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona on November 9, 2026. Bonobo’s music generally falls within the downtempo and electronic music genres, frequently incorporating elements of jazz, trip-hop, and world music. His sound is characterized by intricate layering of melodic textures, atmospheric soundscapes, and often features live instrumentation alongside electronic production. The Van Buren opened in September 2017 following extensive renovations to a historic building originally constructed in 1929. Initially operating as a department store – the Van Buren Department Store – it later served as a meeting hall and event space before falling into disrepair. The current venue retains many of the building's original architectural details, including art deco features and high ceilings. It is designed as a standing-room general admission venue with a capacity of approximately 1,600 people and hosts a diverse range of musical acts and events. The venue is owned by Live Nation Entertainment.
