History is a live music venue located in the west end of Toronto, housed within a repurposed industrial building at 1663 Queen Street West. Originally constructed in 1913 as a warehouse for the Dominion Cartridge Company – manufacturing ammunition – the building later served various industrial purposes before being renovated and opened as a concert hall in 2017. The venue retains much of its original architectural character including exposed brick walls and high ceilings. It’s known for its excellent acoustics and intimate setting, hosting both established and emerging artists across diverse genres. The capacity of History is approximately 2500 people standing or 1200 seated.
