Blue Moon Marquee is scheduled to perform at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on July 11, 2026. The band is recognized for their distinctive blend of blues, jazz, and swing music, often described as “Dust Bowl Gypsy Blues.” Their sound incorporates elements of pre-war blues, hot jazz, and vintage country, delivered with a theatrical stage presence.

Hastings Park has a long and varied history. Originally established as the site for the Vancouver Exhibition beginning in 1910, it evolved into a multi-purpose facility. Throughout its existence, it has hosted agricultural fairs, livestock shows, exhibitions, concerts and sporting events. During World War II, portions of the park were utilized as an internment camp for Japanese Canadians. More recently, Hastings Park underwent significant redevelopment to become a modern event space including the PNE Fairgrounds and Playland amusement park alongside expansive parkland. It continues to serve as a prominent venue for large-scale public gatherings and cultural events within the city of Vancouver. The park is owned by the City of Vancouver and managed by the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition).
