Badhüsli is a historically significant venue in Basel, originally constructed as a public bathhouse (“Badhüsli” translates roughly to “little bath”) in 1912. It served that function until the 1970s. Subsequently, it was repurposed and became a renowned cultural center and concert hall, particularly associated with alternative and independent music scenes. The building’s architecture retains elements of its original design while accommodating a performance space known for its intimate atmosphere and strong acoustics. It’s managed by the city of Basel and continues to host a diverse range of events including concerts, club nights and theatrical performances. The venue's capacity is approximately 250 people.
