Komedia is a prominent arts venue located in the North Laine area of Brighton. Originally built as a music hall in 1894, it underwent significant refurbishment and reopened in 1994 as a multi-arts centre. The building retains many of its original Victorian architectural features, including an ornate ceiling and proscenium arch. It hosts a diverse programme encompassing comedy, theatre, live music, film screenings and children’s shows across multiple spaces within the venue; the main auditorium being particularly noted for its historical character and intimate atmosphere.
