Black Viiolet is scheduled to perform at Revolution Hall in Portland, Oregon on July 31, 2026. Black Viiolet creates music generally categorized as darkwave, blending elements of post-punk, synth-pop, and industrial music. Their sound often features atmospheric synthesizers, driving basslines, and introspective lyrical themes. The project is spearheaded by Kaylee McKinnon, and has gained recognition for its emotionally resonant compositions and distinctive vocal style.

Revolution Hall is a historic venue located in the Buckman neighborhood of Portland. Originally built in 1909 as a high school, it served as John Adams High School until 1981. Following its closure as a school, the building underwent renovations and reopened in 2014 as a multi-use performance space and event center. The hall maintains many of its original architectural features including a large auditorium with a sloped floor and detailed plasterwork.

The venue hosts a diverse range of musical acts, comedy shows, and other events; it’s known for its relatively intimate setting and good acoustics within the restored historical space. Revolution Hall has a capacity of approximately 800 standing or 600 seated attendees.
