Revolution Hall is a historic venue located in the Buckman neighborhood of Portland. Originally built in 1909 as a high school, it served as John Adams High School until 1981. Following its closure as a school, the building underwent renovations and reopened in 2014 as a multi-use performance space and event center. The hall maintains many of its original architectural features including a large auditorium with a sloped floor and detailed plasterwork.
The venue hosts a diverse range of musical acts, comedy shows, and other events; it’s known for its relatively intimate setting and good acoustics within the restored historical space. Revolution Hall has a capacity of approximately 800 standing or 600 seated attendees.
