Black Country, New Road is a British post-punk band formed in Cambridge in 2018. Their music is characterized by dynamic shifts in instrumentation and intensity, blending elements of art rock, jazz, and spoken word. Initial releases featured Isaac Wood as vocalist and primary lyricist; subsequent work has continued with a shifting lineup and evolving sound, often incorporating unconventional song structures and emotionally resonant themes. The band has released three studio albums to date: *For the First Time* (2019), *Ants From Up There* (2022), and *Chlorine* (2024).
The Momentary is a satellite cultural space of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. Located in a decommissioned Kraft cheese factory in Rogers, Arkansas, it opened in February 2020. The venue focuses on contemporary art and performance, utilizing both indoor and outdoor spaces. It aims to be a multidisciplinary hub for visual and performing arts, fostering engagement with artists and audiences through exhibitions, residencies, and live events. The architecture retains significant elements of the original factory building, creating a unique industrial aesthetic that complements its artistic programming.
