Black Country, New Road, a British post-punk band formed in Cambridge in 2018, will be performing at Saturn Lane in Birmingham, Alabama on October 13, 2026. The group’s music is characterized by its experimental approach, blending elements of post-punk, jazz, classical, and spoken word. Their compositions often feature dynamic shifts in intensity, unconventional song structures, and prominent use of instruments like saxophone and violin alongside traditional rock instrumentation. The band has undergone lineup changes since its inception; vocalist Isaac Wood departed in 2022, with the remaining members continuing to release music under the same name.

Saturn Lane is a relatively new independent music venue located in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham. Opened in late 2023, it quickly established itself as a focal point for alternative and underground music within the city’s scene. The venue occupies a renovated building formerly utilized for automotive repair and maintains an industrial aesthetic reflecting its history. It's known for hosting both local and touring acts across genres including indie rock, punk, and experimental music. Saturn Lane's capacity is approximately 300 people offering an intimate concert experience.
