Black Country, New Road, a British post-punk band formed in Cambridge in 2018, will perform at the Orbe concert venue in Mexico City on October 24, 2026. The group’s music is characterized by its dynamic shifts in instrumentation and intensity, blending elements of post-punk, jazz, classical, and spoken word. Their compositions often feature lengthy instrumental passages alongside Isaac Wood’s distinctive vocals—though the band has undergone line-up changes since his departure in 2022—and explore themes of anxiety, societal observation, and personal experience.

The Orbe is an indoor arena located within the Ciudad de México’s Foro Sol complex. Opened in 1993, it originally functioned as a multi-purpose venue hosting sporting events alongside concerts. It underwent significant renovations between 2018 and 2019 to specifically enhance its capabilities as a concert hall. These improvements included upgrades to acoustics and seating arrangements to optimize the audience experience for musical performances. The Orbe is known for its large capacity—approximately 22,300—and has hosted numerous internationally renowned artists across various genres.
