Black Country, New Road, a British post-punk band formed in Cambridge in 2018, will perform at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on September 4th, 2026. The group’s music is characterized by its experimental and dynamic approach, blending elements of post-punk, jazz, classical, and spoken word. Their compositions often feature extended instrumental passages, shifting time signatures, and emotionally charged vocals—initially delivered by Isaac Wood who departed in 2022; current vocal duties are shared. They have released three studio albums to date: *For the First Time* (2021), *Ants From Up There* (2022), and *Prison Life* (2024).
The National Concert Hall (NCH) is Ireland’s premier concert venue, situated on Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin. Originally built as the University College Dublin Examination Hall between 1879 and 1880, it was repurposed as a dedicated concert hall following extensive renovations completed in 1973.
