Black Country, New Road, a British post-punk band formed in Cambridge in 2018, will be performing in London on November 13, 2026. The group’s sound is characterized by its experimental and dynamic approach, blending elements of post-punk, jazz, klezmer, and spoken word. Their compositions often feature lengthy, complex arrangements with shifting time signatures and instrumentation including saxophone, violin alongside traditional rock instruments. Lyrically, they are known for their introspective and often abstract themes.

The band initially gained recognition with their 2019 debut album *For the First Time*, followed by critical acclaim for *Ants From Up There* (2022). A significant lineup change occurred in early 2022 with the departure of vocalist and lyricist Isaac Wood; subsequent releases have seen guitarist Lewis Evans assuming primary vocal duties.

London has long been a central hub for post-punk music development since the late 1970s. Venues throughout the city played a crucial role in fostering the original movement and continue to support emerging alternative artists today.
