Black Country, New Road, a British post-punk band formed in Cambridge in 2018, will be performing at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana, Slovenia on August 11, 2026. The group is known for its dynamic and experimental sound, blending elements of post-punk, jazz, klezmer, and spoken word. Their compositions frequently feature unconventional song structures, shifting time signatures, and intensely emotional vocal delivery. Initially a seven-piece ensemble, the band has continued as a six-piece following lineup changes. They have released three studio albums to date: *For the First Time* (2021), *Ants From Up There* (2022), and *No Show* (2024).

Kino Šiška is a cultural centre located in the former silk factory complex in the Bežigrad district of Ljubljana. Opened in 2009 after extensive renovations, it functions as a multi-disciplinary venue hosting concerts, theatre performances, film screenings, exhibitions and workshops. The building itself represents an example of industrial heritage adapted for contemporary cultural use.
