Experience Björn Bergmann live on September 19th

Björn Bergmann is a German-Icelandic composer and instrumentalist known for his atmospheric and emotionally resonant neoclassical music, often incorporating elements of post-rock and ambient soundscapes. His compositions frequently feature piano as a central instrument, alongside strings and electronic textures, creating a dynamic range from delicate introspection to powerful crescendos. He has released several albums to critical acclaim and performs internationally.

Schlossgarten Petzow is a historical park located in Werder (Havel), Germany, surrounding the remnants of Petzow Palace. Originally established as a baroque garden in the 17th century, it underwent significant redesigns in the English landscape garden style during the 19th century following its acquisition by Princess Marianne of Prussia. The palace itself was largely demolished in 1949 after suffering damage during World War II, though the park’s layout and several key features, including avenues of trees, follies and water features remain intact. Today, Schlossgarten Petzow serves as a public park and venue for cultural events, valued for its historical significance and scenic beauty within the Spreewald biosphere reserve region. The setting provides a unique backdrop for open-air performances due to its blend of natural landscape and historical context.
