The State Theatre originally opened in 1935 as a movie palace designed in the Art Deco style by architect Karl Zink. Initially showcasing films, it underwent several transformations over the decades. Following extensive renovations completed in 2023, the venue reopened as a fully restored live music space retaining many of its original architectural features.
