Bicep, the electronic music duo consisting of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar, will be performing at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, New South Wales on October 31st, 2026. Their music is generally described as melodic techno and house, often incorporating elements of ambient and breakbeat. Initially known for their sample-based productions and remixes, Bicep evolved towards crafting original compositions characterized by atmospheric soundscapes, driving rhythms, and emotive melodies. They gained prominence with their 2017 debut album *Bicep*, followed by *Isles* in 2021, both critically acclaimed within the electronic music scene.

Hordern Pavilion, located within Moore Park Road, Sydney, has a significant history as a major entertainment venue. Opened in 1926 as a velodrome for bicycle racing, it transitioned into hosting various events including boxing matches and concerts throughout the mid-20th century. The venue is recognised for its large open floor space and relatively simple architectural design which contributes to its strong acoustics and intimate concert experience despite its capacity of approximately 5,500 people. It remains a popular choice for both Australian and international touring artists across multiple genres.
