The Belcea Quartet is scheduled to perform at the Philharmonie de Paris on December 20, 2026. The quartet, formed in 1990, is renowned for its insightful and emotionally compelling interpretations of string quartet repertoire, often characterized by a clear textural approach and a dynamic range that balances precision with warmth. They are particularly noted for their complete cycles of Beethoven, Bartók, and Shostakovich quartets. The Philharmonie de Paris, inaugurated in January 2015, is a major concert venue located in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.
