The Belcea Quartet is scheduled to perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on March 9, 2027. The quartet, formed in 1990, is recognized for its insightful and emotionally resonant interpretations of string quartet repertoire, often characterized by a directness and clarity of sound. The Concertgebouw, opened in 1888, holds a prominent position as one of the world’s leading concert halls. Designed by architect Pieter Cuypers, the hall was conceived with the intention of providing optimal conditions for orchestral music.
