Originally constructed in 1878 as a Chautauqua Hall, it served as a venue for lectures, debates, and traveling shows. Over its history it underwent periods as a movie theatre before being restored in 2003 to its original function as a performance space. Today, The Music Hall operates as a non-profit organization presenting a wide range of programming including concerts, theatrical performances, film screenings and literary events. The building itself features ornate Victorian architecture and offers intimate acoustics suitable for varied performances. It comprises three venues: the Historic Theatre, the Loft and the Warren Studio.
