The Basel Chamber Orchestra will perform at the Tonhalle Zurich on June 1st, 2027. Tonhalle Zurich is a renowned concert hall with a significant history in Swiss musical life. Originally built in 1895 and renovated extensively between 2017-2021, it serves as the primary performance venue for the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, as well as hosting numerous guest ensembles and soloists. The hall is celebrated for its excellent acoustics and elegant architecture, designed originally by Hans Jakob Stehle. Throughout its existence, Tonhalle has hosted prominent conductors and musicians establishing itself as an important European center for classical music. The current hall maintains its historical character while incorporating modern technological advancements to enhance the auditory experience.
