The St. Aegtenkapel is a historical building located in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Originally built around 1480 as a chapter house for the St. Agnes monastery, it served religious functions for centuries. Following the dissolution of the monastery in 1579, the building underwent various uses including a warehouse and a school. Extensive renovations were completed in 1973-1975 to restore it to a cultural centre and concert venue. The Kapel is known for its intimate atmosphere and notable acoustics, making it a popular location for chamber music performances and recordings.
