De Warande is a cultural centre located in the historic Turnhout region of Belgium. Originally constructed in the 19th century as a royal domain for King Leopold II, it served as a summer residence and hunting ground. The building itself is an example of neoclassical architecture with extensive gardens. Following periods of use as a military hospital and training centre, De Warande was repurposed as a cultural venue in 1975. Today it hosts a diverse programme including concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances and conferences. The venue is noted for its unique acoustics within its historical spaces and its commitment to presenting both established and emerging artists. It is managed by the Province of Antwerp.
