De Doelen is a renowned concert hall in Rotterdam, historically significant as the home base for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra since 1933. Originally built in 1934 as a shooting range ("doelen" translates to "targets" in Dutch), it underwent substantial renovation and expansion in the 1990s, designed by architects Mecanoo.
